Property Mentor

Property mentoringHaving a property mentor is an excellent way to help you buy property right the first time and help you expand on your current portfolio. A property mentor also enables you to make the right decisions and work around complex property deals where you would have otherwise just given up because it was either to hard or you just didn’t have the knowledge to complete the deal.

Wealth Ladder is definitely biased to the fact that having a mentor to invest in property is a great idea as this is part of our business to help new and current property investors. Both Michael and Greg have their own mentors in both property and other areas of their life. This is because they see the real value that mentors and people living at a higher level than themselves will help them excel in their chosen area.

Whether property investing is your thing or not, therefore if you want to excel in anything find that person who is great at it and make them your mentor.  But remember just becuase you neighbour or friend knows a bit or two about property doesn’t mean they should be your mentor.

Why do I need a mentor when I can just do it myself

You see, if you think of any great athlete they all have mentors (coaches) to help them be the best in the world. Do you think the All Blacks would be the greatest rugby team of all time if they didn’t have a coach? No they wouldn’t. You can’t just put a bunch of great players together and expect them to be the best team without coaches and support staff. It doesn’t work that way.

As a mentor you need to find the strengths and weaknesses of each member of the team and mold the team to work together as one. The same goes for a property mentor.

I’m sure you would have had many mentors when you were growing up and still do but maybe you just don’t know it yet.  Probably the most important advice I can give you is that mentors can give unbiased advice and push you to another level you didn’t think was possible.

Property mentors will give advice that would normally cost thousands of dollars, as a result save you thousands of dollars.

Billionaires who have mentors

Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook Founder) had Steve Jobs (Apple Fonder) as one of his mentors.
Zuckerberg said about Steve. “I had a lot of questions for him, Steve gave me advice about how I could build a team that was as focused as I was on building high quality and good things”.

Bill Gates (Microsoft Founder) had Warren Buffet (Billionaire Investor) as one of his mentors.
Warren said about Bill.“What I really most admire about Bill is the view he has about what he should do with the wealth he’s accumulated…he knows he’s a beneficiary of a terrific society.”

Richard Branson (Virgin Founder) had Sir Freddie Laker (Pioneer in low-fare airline) as one of his mentors.
“If you ask any successful businessperson, they will always (say they) have had a great mentor at some point along the road.” – Richard Branson

Property mentor

One property mentor is not like the other

Consequently just getting any property mentor to mentor you is not the same thing. You need someone who is way beyond your level. Who is doing it full time and has made millions from property investing.

There are many mentoring companies out there who promote themselves as property mentors but don’t actually have much of a portfolio. Therefore its important to get the right fit for the right mentor so you can get the result you want.

Michael has been investing for over 15 years and has traded over 50+ properties and has a current portfolio over $12 million (net). Michael lives and breathes property investing and is always looking for the next property deal.

Wouldn’t it be great to be mentored by someone at that level?

“As we look ahead into the next century, leaders will be those who empower others.” – Bill Gates

Of course you might ask yourself, well if Michael has made this much money in property why would he want to mentor people. Simple answer is GIVING BACK. We all want to give back in some way to help others achieve.

This is part of life, teaching others so they too can teach others.  Wealth Ladder is all about creating long term wealth so you and your family can enjoy the rewards.

I want to be a millionaire

At Wealth Ladder we are not in to making out that you are going to make a million dollars this year and you are going to be mega rich. It just doesn’t work that way.

Everyone who has made their fortune in property investing did it over many years.

At Wealth Ladder we believe we can help you become a property millionaire.

But this won’t just come from Wealth Ladder it will come from you. As the saying goes “You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink.”

The more action and dedication you put into it the more you will get out of having a mentor keep pushing you to achieve your goals. Wealth Ladders role is to give you the advice and guidance when needed at any time.

When you are dealing in hundreds of thousands of dollars you do not want to get it wrong.

You will either end up broke or not be able to invest in property again for a number of years if you get it wrong. But with the right advice and help it will set you and your family up for life.
